ISTAT (Italian National Institute of Statistics) has released the 2012 Survey on regional household disposable income today. Despite low timeliness, the report offers the last official data highlighting the descending curve of households economic conditions in Italy.
A big gap among Italian regions stands above the average disposable income (€17.563 according to ISTAT, or slightly over €20k as calculated by EUROSTAT in line with EU average of €20.049) -see the statistics here. In Italy the North area recorded the highest value of disposable income per inhabitant about €20.300 in 2012, the Centre reached €18.700, the South hit the worst performance with €13.200 only.
